The Industrial Liaison Office (ILO) at Mukiria Technical Training Institute serves as a bridge between the Institute, industry, and the community. The office coordinates industrial linkages, dual training programs (50% classroom, 50% workplace training), alumni engagement, and industry training and mentorship opportunities to ensure trainees are industry-ready. The ILO also drives partnerships with employers, development partners and other stakeholders to promote innovation, research, and career development. In addition, it organizes Job Readiness Sessions (JRSs) to equip trainees with workplace skills such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving and entrepreneurship. Through these initiatives, Mukiria TTI fosters strong collaborations that open doors for trainees, enhance employability and support national skills development.
