Mukiria Technical Training Institute (MTTI) is committed to nurturing and imparting relevant TVET knowledge, skills and attitudes for a competitive and dynamic world. In pursuit of this commitment, MTTI shall protect its information assets from all threats whether internal or external, deliberate or accidental. This is to ensure preservation of Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (C.I.A.) of information that guarantees business continuity, minimizes business loss by detecting and preventing security incidences.
The management of MTTI shall ensure that this policy is implemented to meet the requirements of ISO/IEC 27001:2013 standard, and all other statutory requirements – ISMS. All MTTI employees, customers and interested parties who have any involvement with information assets covered by the scope of the ISMS shall be responsible for the implementation of this policy and shall have the support of MTTI Top Management. Established ISMS objectives and this policy shall be reviewed at most annually for continuing suitability. The ISMS policy shall be communicated within the institute and made available to relevant interested parties
